About Blairsville Antiques, LLC
Blairsville Antiques, LLC differs in that items must be at least 50 years of age (a/k/a "Vintage") as well as items of 100 years or more (a/k/a "Antiques") to be found in its varied collections. Owners Francine Rose and Charlie Johnston have over 60 years of combined experience in collecting and selling art and antiques. They proudly offer unique, well-executed pieces at attractive prices. In addition, Francine is a personal property appraiser, educated and trained to advise discriminating consumers about the history and values of antiques, decorative arts, and fine art. As lead appraiser, Francine is a graduate of the University of Miami and has collected and sold fine art and antiques since 1970. She successfully completed studies at the University of Georgia in Personal Property Valuation, sponsored by the American Society of Appraisers in 2008. Ms. Rose researches and personally prepares each appraisal, ensuring its accuracy and thoroughness. Each appraisal adheres to the ethical and professional guidelines of the Appraisal Foundation's standards (USPAP) and to the high standards of the American Society of Appraisers. She has prepared appraisals for attorneys, mortgage companies, executors and individuals, each demonstrating her scope of knowledge, analytical abilities and commitment to personal excellence. Ms. Rose and Mr. Johnston continue to study the various aspects of collecting and selling antiques. They regularly participate in lectures, classes, and various auctions. Inquires are always welcome.
